Ibn Haldun University continues to enhance its practice-oriented education models aimed at preparing students for the professional world. In a session organized under the leadership of the Departments of New Media and Communication and Business Administration, the 7+1 and 6+2 education models—key examples of academia-industry integration—were discussed in detail.

The “AI Book Launch and Consultation Event,” organized in collaboration with Ibn Haldun University’s Center for Innovative Learning and Teaching- Artificial Intelligence (CILT-AI) and the Psychotherapy Application and Research Center (IPAM), was successfully held at the Süleymaniye Campus with strong participation.

As part of the in-term training series organized by the Artificial Intelligence, Innovative Learning and Teaching Coordination Office (CILT-AI) at Ibn Haldun University, a session titled “Effective Classroom Management: Motivation Strategies in Learning and Teaching” was successfully held. The training, which aimed to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of academic teaching processes, was completed with strong participation.

Ibn Haldun University is taking its pioneering vision in educational technologies one step further through the “HyFlex” (Hybrid-Flexible) classroom model. As part of the technology enhancement initiatives carried out by our coordination unit (CILT-AI), this model has been successfully implemented in the graduate-level course “Programming with R Supported by Artificial Intelligence.”

The Coordination of Innovative Learning and Teaching-Artificial Intelligence has announced its 2025–2026 academic year updated training schedule, featuring a series of AI-supported programs designed to enhance teaching innovation, enrich learning experiences, and promote academic excellence across the university.

The training and academic support activities carried out by the CILT-AI team continue not only through group trainings but also through individual consultation sessions. These one-on-one meetings are designed to provide academics with practice-oriented and needs-based support so that they can use artificial intelligence–supported methods more effectively in their research processes.

An academic meeting focusing on AI-supported and human-centered writing skills, as well as human and AI-based grading processes, was held at our University. The meeting was conducted under the leadership of CILT-AI Coordinator Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akın Bulut, with the contributions of Assist. Prof. Merve Armağan Boğatekin from the Department of Psychology.

At our university, a promotional video for the Electronic Document System (EDS) was prepared in order to support academic units in conducting their administrative processes more efficiently, swiftly, and systematically.

At our university, a training program titled “Digital-Age Information Management: Notion and AI Strategies for Academic Success” was organized to enhance students’ ability to effectively manage information, strengthen academic organization, and utilize generative artificial intelligence tools in line with the demands of the digital age.

As part of the individual consultancy activities carried out to strengthen the digital pedagogical competencies of our academic staff, we met with Assist. Prof. Burcu Güngör. During the session, practical evaluations were conducted on the more effective, systematic, and pedagogically sound use of the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).

Within this scope, as CILT-AI, we delivered a training titled “AI-Supported Bibliometric Analysis” upon the invitation of our university’s Department of Psychology. The training, conducted by Assist. Prof. Adem Yurdunkulu, brought together undergraduate and graduate students as well as researchers from the Department of Psychology, offering comprehensive content on analyzing the quantitative and qualitative dimensions of scientific production, identifying research trends, and detecting gaps in the literature.

The training program titled “AI-Supported Enrichment of Educational Content and Active Learning Techniques in Higher Education for Academics,” organized to enhance the digital pedagogical competencies of our academic staff, was delivered by Assistant Professor Adem Yurdunkulu, Vice Coordinator of CILT-AI.

As part of CILT-AI’s ongoing initiatives, a meeting was held with Melisa Akay from the Information and Documentation Unit. During the session, a general overview of artificial intelligence tools was provided, with a particular focus on how these tools can be utilized in institutional content production processes.

At CILT-AI, we continue to carry out our academic and practice-based initiatives not only with our faculty members but also in collaboration with our students, embracing a participatory and productive approach.

Under the leadership of the Coordination of Innovative Learning and Teaching- Artificial Intelligence, a comprehensive consultation meeting on the “Artificial Intelligence Use Principles and Implementation Framework” was held with the participation of all faculty members of the University’s Department of Educational Sciences.

With the beginning of the new academic term, the individual academic consultancy and orientation activities carried out at our university continue without interruption. Within this scope, Assist. Prof. Fatih Al, who will assume his position as a Doctoral Faculty Member in the Department of Economics at our university, applied to our Coordination Unit and received orientation consultancy.

Our team held a comprehensive planning meeting to make the educational processes more efficient and effective in the upcoming term.

A comprehensive training program was organized by the Artificial Intelligence, Innovative Learning and Teaching Coordination Office (CILT-AI) at Ibn Haldun University for the Research and Application Centers operating within the university. The program, delivered by Dr. Adem Yurdunkulu, attracted strong participation from both academic and administrative staff working in these centers.

The "Technology, AI, and Pedagogy Oriented Academic Professional Development Program," realized through the collaboration of our University Rectorate and the Coordination of Innovative Learning and Teaching-Artificial Intelligence, was held with the intense participation and great interest of our academic staff.

The training program titled “In-Depth Learning and Academic Study Strategies with NotebookLM,” organized to enhance our students’ academic literacy and in-depth learning skills, was successfully completed.

The second session of the ChatGPT and Gemini-Supported Bibliometric Analysis Training provided participants with the skills to effectively manage, integrate, and conduct comprehensive bibliometric analyses on large datasets.
