The 'Century's Value Student Workshop', organized with the leadership of Ibn Haldun University's Department of Arts, Culture and Sports and with the support of Başakşehir Municipality and the Coordinatorship of Innovative Learning and Teaching-Artificial Intelligence, became a source of inspiration enlightening Turkey's centennial."
This workshop aimed to determine how Turkey's profound understanding of civilization and rich cultural heritage will be carried into the next century. The program, which began with opening speeches by Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, the Rector of Ibn Haldun University, N. Bilal Erdoğan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. İrfan Gündüz, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, extensively discussed the qualities that university students should possess and the feasibility of these recommendations.
The workshop, attended by a total of 100 students, formed 17 different working groups. These groups utilized the 6-3-5 brainstorming technique to discuss the qualities that students need to carry forward the 'Turkey Century'. A total of 5508 suggestions were evaluated, and these suggestions were analyzed by our coordination team using artificial intelligence programs to produce results. At the end of the program, smartwatches were awarded to 5 individuals, while all participants received a certificate of participation and were thanked for their contributions.
The results of the study will be compiled into a detailed report by the Coordinatorship of Innovative Learning and Teaching-Artificial Intelligence to be shared with institutions concerned with the significant contributions it will make to the upbringing of the younger generations and the development of the country. It is expected that this report will serve as an important guide for shaping the future of Turkey by fostering the development of its youth.
