We Held a Productive Meeting on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Education with the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department

In the first part of the meeting, information was provided on active learning techniques and the effective use of digital tools in education. Various examples were presented, particularly on how artificial intelligence technologies can make teaching processes more efficient and dynamic. This session helped our faculty members gain awareness of technology-based innovative approaches.

In the second part, a hands-on workshop was conducted. Faculty members were divided into small groups to develop creative solutions for integrating artificial intelligence into course content. Each group designed projects aimed at enhancing student engagement, enriching learning processes, and addressing individual differences more effectively. During this process, AI-supported analytics tools, interactive learning platforms, and personalized learning methods emerged as key tools.

During the sharing session held after the group work, innovative ideas and experiences were shared. These exchanges contributed to the formation of a more comprehensive vision by combining different approaches and perspectives. Additionally, in-depth discussions were held on the ethical use of artificial intelligence and its student-centered applications.

The meeting provided an opportunity to evaluate the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in education from a broader perspective, enabling our faculty members to feel more equipped to integrate these technologies into their pedagogical approaches. This productive gathering increased the awareness of the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department faculty members regarding innovative methods in education and laid a solid foundation for future collaborations.
