With the invitation of esteemed Prof. Dr. Halil Berktay, we met the members of his team to introduce the role of Active Learning Methods, which increase interactivity in discussion groups and strengthen student learning. During the meeting, positive impact of Active Learning Techniques in increasing the interest of students who have low participation in discussion groups, and are reluctant or shy to discuss was talked about. Then, 5 Active Learning Techniques that support learning and are 'pill techniques' that can be used directly in discussion groups were introduced to teaching assistants.
