The session began with the "Solution Cards Activity." Participants were given problem cards and developed solution suggestions, realizing the importance of adopting a solution-focused approach to the challenges they face. This activity demonstrated how small changes can create significant differences, and through group discussions, participants had the opportunity to further refine each suggestion. Next, the concept of solution-focused thinking was introduced. It was emphasized that focusing on solutions, rather than problems, helps individuals tap into their internal resources and achieve success.
The following activity, "My Perfect Learning Day" design, allowed participants to create their ideal learning day. In this process, they identified which topics to study, how much time to focus, and what motivated them, developing a personalized learning plan. The SMART goal-setting technique was also a key part of the session. Participants learned to set goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. This technique helped them adopt a more intentional and focused approach when defining their personal learning goals.
In the final parts of the session, participants focused on time management and procrastination habits. With the "Time Thieves Capture" activity, they reviewed how they spent their time during the past week, identified time losses, and developed solutions to minimize these losses. They also worked on prioritizing their tasks using the Eisenhower Matrix and explored the reasons behind procrastination through the Procrastination Wheel, developing strategies to overcome these behaviors.
At the end of the session, participants reflected on what they had gained by answering the question, "What Have I Gained Today?" This session provided participants with valuable skills in solution-focused thinking, time management, and goal setting, contributing to their personal development.
