Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akın Bulut has made a significant achievement with his innovative course designs, which enhance the quality and interaction in education through the integration of digitalization and artificial intelligence.

As a faculty member in Educational Sciences, Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akın Bulut aimed to transform the pedagogical foundations of five courses in the new media department within the scope of CILT-AI studies. He restructured these courses with a techno-pedagogical approach. The developed courses were enriched with digital tools and artificial intelligence, and were presented in a format suitable for online learning through the Canvas LMS platform.

In assessing the pedagogical quality of the courses, internationally recognized standards for measuring quality and interaction in education, such as the Quality Matters and Triple E rubrics, were used. In-depth analyses and evaluations revealed remarkable findings regarding the integration of digital tools and artificial intelligence in the educational process. These findings proved that the innovative course designs significantly enhanced the effectiveness of teaching and were published in the top 10% of an SSCI Q1 journal.

Additionally, these courses were submitted for evaluation under the Good Teaching Awards, where they received high recognition and were awarded a prize for their innovative approach in education. This achievement highlights not only the academic success but also emphasizes the importance of digitalization in education and the significance of innovative pedagogies.

We extend our gratitude to our Coordinator, Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akın Bulut, for his valuable contributions to the field.
