This session aimed to help participants get to know each other, establish group rules, create a safe environment, and gain basic knowledge about the concept of self-regulated learning.
First, participants had the opportunity to get to know each other better through the "Symbol That Describes Me" activity. In this activity, each participant expressed themselves through symbols and shared how these symbols related to their personalities with the group.
Next, group rules were established to create a safe sharing environment. Participants determined the rules that would allow them to share comfortably and respectfully within the group, and these rules were written down.
To clarify their goals for joining the group, participants engaged in the "Discover My Purpose" activity, where each participant expressed their personal goals, boosting motivation within the group. Additionally, during the "Miracle Question" activity, participants reflected on the changes they would like to see in relation to their problems and shared their thoughts with the group.
To help participants evaluate their learning processes, the Self-Regulated Learning Scale was applied. This scale served as an important tool to help participants better understand their learning processes and track their development.
Finally, participants were given the opportunity to share what they had learned through the "What Am I Taking Away Today?" activity. Each participant reflected on what they had learned and shared their experiences with the group.
We would like to express our thanks to all the group members who participated in the program for their valuable contributions.
