We Came Together with Assist. Prof. Rahmi Oruç, a Faculty Member of the Comparative Literature Department, to Enrich the Course 'LIT 499: The Emergence of Modern Literary Theory' with Active Learning Techniques and Digital Tools.
We continue to digitize our university courses...

In this interactive meeting we gathered on the Zoom platform, under the guidance of Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akın Bulut, the Coordinator of Innovative Learning and Teaching-Artificial Intelligence, we had the opportunity to learn about a series of digital and artificial intelligence tools that will enable our students to have a more effective learning experience.

Assist. Prof. Bulut's presentation provided a comprehensive overview of how tools such as Nearpod, Sutori, Miro, Gamma, ChatPDF can be used in our lessons, while also discussing how a environment can be created where students transition from passive listeners to actively engaging with information through digital tools and artificial intelligence.

In the continuation of the meeting, example applications of how the Learning Management System of the University (Canvas) can be used for the benefit of students were presented.

We would like to extend our thanks to Assit. Prof. Rahmi Oruç and his team for their dedicated efforts in meeting the needs of students in the digital age.
