Assist. Prof. Rahmi Oruç, a faculty member in the Department of Comparative Literature, organized a consultancy meeting in collaboration with our coordination office to make his course "LIT 499: The Emergence of Modern Literary Theory" more interactive. Dr. Oruç, along with teaching assistants, attended the online meeting where they were introduced to digital and artificial intelligence tools such as Nearpod, Sutori, and Gamma that could be used in the teaching process. Information was provided on how to use these platforms to present course content more effectively and increase student interaction. In this meeting aimed at transferring course materials to digital platforms, a practical demonstration was conducted on the use of the mentioned tools, and teaching assistants were given the opportunity to use these tools as well.
We would like to thank Assist. Prof. Rahmi Oruç and the teaching assistants for their interest and participation in this process. We believe that these efforts to provide students with a more effective learning experience will serve as an important example for future courses.
