The training, which received strong interest and participation from our faculty members, was led by Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akın Bulut, Head of the Coordination Office. Dr. Bulut delivered a comprehensive presentation on technology-enhanced teaching processes, current applications of artificial intelligence, the effective use of digital tools in assessment, and active learning strategies that increase interaction in university courses.
Throughout the program, participants were introduced to a variety of practical examples on enriching courses through digital platforms, enhancing student engagement, strengthening classroom interaction, and making assessment processes more objective and efficient. In addition, faculty members shared the effective instructional methods and best practices they have successfully implemented in their own courses, contributing to a collaborative learning environment.
During the sessions where active learning techniques were practiced, participants had the opportunity to redesign their teaching processes and gain hands-on experience with AI-supported tools that can be integrated into course planning.
This training not only demonstrated our university’s dedication to innovative and technology-enhanced teaching but also made a significant contribution to strengthening the digital pedagogical competencies of our academic staff.
