The program covered the fundamentals of bibliometric analysis, database selection, and data cleaning processes. In addition, participants were introduced to the use of AI-supported tools for analyzing large datasets more efficiently and systematically, mapping research networks through visualization techniques, and strategically utilizing findings in academic publishing processes, all supported with practical examples.
Participants gained significant insights particularly in deepening literature reviews for master’s and doctoral theses, identifying emerging themes in their fields, and developing effective publication strategies. In the hands-on session, real-time analyses were conducted using sample datasets, allowing participants to actively experience and apply the process.
As CILT-AI, we will continue to organize training programs aimed at strengthening our university’s research capacity and enhancing the digital research competencies of our academics and students. We would like to thank Assist. Prof. Adem Yurdunkulu for his valuable contribution and the Department of Psychology for their strong interest and participation
