19.11.2025
The Coordination of Innovative Learning and Teaching-Artificial Intelligence has made a valuable contribution to science with the introduction of the concept of "Aidemics" in their article.
In the article published in SSCI Q1 (%10), Assist. Prof. Adem YURDUNKULU and Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akın BULUT from our coordination aim to deepen the interaction between artificial intelligence and the academic world, encouraging scholars to use AI more efficiently, ethically, and critically.
In the study, Aidemics emerges as a term to describe academics who view artificial intelligence not just as a tool, but as an essential part of academic work, integrating these technologies into their creative thinking, research, and teaching processes within their fields.
The article thoroughly explains how artificial intelligence should be used more deeply in the academic world and how the concept of Aidemics enables scholars to establish a symbiotic relationship with AI, blending efficiency, innovation, and ethical values. It emphasizes the facilitating role of AI in academic teaching, research, and administrative tasks, while also addressing important points regarding critical thinking and the preservation of human intelligence.
This study, which is poised to have a significant impact in the academic world, aims to raise awareness about the new roles of scholars working with artificial intelligence. It serves as an important guide to how academic practice will evolve in the future.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Assist. Prof. Adem YURDUNKULU and Assist. Prof. Mehmet Akın BULUT for their valuable work and contributions.
