Training Organized by CILT-AI Strengthens the Research Capacity of Research and Application Centers
A comprehensive training program was organized by the Artificial Intelligence, Innovative Learning and Teaching Coordination Office (CILT-AI) at Ibn Haldun University for the Research and Application Centers operating within the university. The program, delivered by Dr. Adem Yurdunkulu, attracted strong participation from both academic and administrative staff working in these centers.

Designed with the understanding that scientific research processes are increasingly being reshaped by data-driven approaches in the digitalizing academic landscape, the training aimed to equip participants with the skills to systematically and analytically examine literature trends within their respective disciplines. In this context, the program sought to align the research strategies of the centers with global academic standards.

Throughout the training, participants gained hands-on experience in extracting strategic data from internationally recognized databases such as Web of Science and Scopus. In addition, the role of Generative AI tools in structuring and organizing bibliometric datasets was explored in detail.

One of the key highlights of the program was the analysis of research networks using advanced visualization techniques. Participants engaged in practical applications focusing on co-authorship structures, citation networks, and conceptual clusters, enabling them to develop a deeper understanding of the dynamics of scientific collaboration and knowledge production.

The training made a significant contribution to helping Research and Application Centers identify global research gaps within their fields of expertise and supported them in developing more qualified, innovative, and strategically grounded publication projects.

Ibn Haldun University will continue to support academic excellence and strengthen research capacity through similar initiatives coordinated by CILT-AI in the future.
