Training on Alternative Assessment, Evaluation, and Effective Feedback Methods Successfully Conducted
The training, focusing on alternative assessment and effective feedback methods, equipped participants with practical, application-oriented skills.

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education, the “Training on Alternative Assessment, Evaluation, and Effective Feedback Methods” was successfully completed. The training moved beyond traditional assessment approaches and focused on student-centered and process-oriented evaluation methods.

Participants were introduced to the design and implementation of alternative assessment tools such as performance tasks, portfolios, peer assessment, and self-assessment through practical examples. In addition, the training emphasized how to structure effective feedback strategies that support the learning process.

Throughout the program, it was highlighted that feedback should not be solely outcome-oriented, but rather a developmental and guiding tool. The importance of providing timely, clear, and constructive feedback and its impact on student achievement were discussed in detail. Participants also had the opportunity to engage interactively and develop practical strategies that can be adapted to their own teaching practices.

With this training, it is aimed to promote more holistic, fair, and learning-oriented assessment approaches in teaching processes.
