The HyFlex model, which integrates the traditional classroom environment with the opportunities of the digital world, offers students the option to attend classes either physically in person or synchronously online. One of the greatest advantages of this model is that it enables students to manage their learning processes according to their own conditions. The first application of our technology enhancement efforts was carried out in the R Programming course, which requires intensive hands-on practice. Thanks to the advanced audio and video systems used in the course: Students attending remotely were able to follow coding processes and screen sharing in high resolution. In-class interaction became independent of physical boundaries through 360-degree audio systems. Pedagogical efficiency was maximized through multiple screens and interactive tools offered by the hybrid environment.
We do not merely use technology; we integrate it into our educational processes. As the CILT-AI unit, we view digital transformation in education not just as a tool, but as a culture that enhances the learning experience. Our technology enhancement efforts in HyFlex classrooms will continue to expand across courses in different departments.
